"January 28, 1986" is the seventh track of Owl City's third studio album, All Things Bright and Beautiful. The track is an intro to the succeeding track, "Galaxies".
The title of the track is the date of the Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster. The track consists of Ronald Reagan's speech played over an instrumental by Adam Young that consists of a choir voiced by Adam himself. The track also samples Port Blue's "Helmet", but it is reversed and slowed. This also applies to "Galaxies".
